Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation Volume 1 comes on 2 DVD set on September 4th from Shout! Factory. The four green turtles that changed to mutants by an ooze were found and raised by a rat. They are now ninjas living in the sewers of New York City that fight crime. The five ninjas Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are joined by a girl ninja Venus De Milo. I remember watching the cartoon when I was growing up, but not the live-action adventures. This TV adventures of Saban's Ninja Turtles was fun to watch as a family. The kids enjoyed the music every time the episodes started.
A movie for the adults Snow White and The Huntsman: Extended Edition will be on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD and Digital copy will be available on September 11th. It is an action fantasy that has battle scenes and lots of visual imagination. The movie is full of special effects, I sometimes found it too much. I don't recommend this movie for young children as there are lots of violent scenes. The story is mainly based on Snow White and the 7 dwarves, but with a twist by adding a huntsman, a brother to the queen and a childhood friend of Snow White.
