Ghost Pepper Burrito eating competition Oct 20th at Eaton Centre


Mucho Burrito, the fastest-growing Mexican restaurant chain in Canada, will host a Ghost Pepper Burrito eating competition on Saturday, October 20, 2012   11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Toronto Eaton Centre’s Urban Eatery.
The winner of the competition will take home $2,500 with the second place winner receiving free burritos for a year.

The ghost pepper is one of the hottest peppers in the world with a Scoville rating of 1,000,000.  In comparison with the well known peppers such as the Habanero that has a Scoville rating of 350,000.  Jalapeno has a rating of 8,000. 
The ghost pepper has a slow-building heat that increases with intensity as time passes. It was rated the hottest chili pepper in the world by The Guinness Book of World Records.
